Deep tissue massage: Improve mobility and release tension

Deep Tissue Massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and aims to release tension in the body. Some prefer this type of massage as it’s slower but stronger, offering deeper muscle stimulation. This massage is both corrective and therapeutic, and following your session, your muscles will be noticeably looser. Regardless of your level of athleticism, a deep tissue massage has a range of benefits.

What will happen during your session?

The massage therapist will use fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows and forearms to work your problem areas. If you feel discomfort during your session, simply inform the Neuromuscular Therapist. They will then adjust pressure and their massage patterns.

This treatment will help your body to remove any metabolic waste generated through training sessions or general everyday activities and help aid recovery. If you have any concerns following your sessions, you should contact us, we’re happy to help.
